Property shares the Auto fault_system records for its comparative gate but does not run this tool on the carrier subrogation path; there, liability is recorded as not run.
On the subrogation path the tool is what moves legally_recoverable from pending to computed once it runs. It sits at step 4 of the trace contract lineup, after coverage, because the payment gate and the authority gate both need it .
